Mark S. Whelan, Director, joined Fantini & Gorga in 2006. His primary responsibilities include underwriting commercial and multifamily real estate financings and working closely with capital sources towards the successful structuring and closing of transactions. Prior to joining Fantini & Gorga, Mark was for five years part of KeyBank Commercial Mortgage Group's two-member Boston team, which completed in excess of $1 billion in permanent mortgage transactions. In addition, he has twelve years of experience in various capacities within the commercial real estate industry, having worked in leasing, management, acquisitions, and finance.

Mark holds a Master of Science in Finance degree from Bentley College as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Management (with a concentration in Finance) from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
